Harare, Zimbabwe at last!  We gave thanks to God that He had brought us safely to our destination.  Now the truly hard work was to begin.  But we were excited about it and ready to start.  Good thing too, because the first thing we did after our overnight flight from Europe was head straight to a school assembly that was expecting us!

Lions and cheetahs
weren't the only
animals...
...for there were also
baboons, crocodiles...

...elephants, giraffes,
plains game...

...a giant Galapagos
tortoise, allegedly
256 years old, who
is far from home in
any case...
...and even native
African porcupines!

Back to Harare...
...to view the
solar eclipse

Harare, the eclipse
was around 96%,
while a little farther
north the eclipse
was total.
